Live a Well-Rounded Retirement
With The Manor, you can rest assured knowing that he or she will be cared for by a staff who truly treats them like family. Consider the benefits you and your family will enjoy when you choose The Manor, and join the families who have trusted us for nearly 30 years.
The Manor was founded in 1991 as a senior living community in Florence, SC, for those who wish to retire and gain full access to health care while remaining close to family and friends. The Manor residents have everything they need on our beautiful 87-acre campus, and everyone they need nearby.
Everything we do for our residents is steeped in our traditional Southern values — service, hospitality, community and friendship, and care. We treat our residents with the utmost respect and dignity, and do everything in our power to help them live the retirement of their dreams, surrounded by talented nurses and friendly neighbors.
Your loved one can age in place with The Manor, as we provide care for seniors during all stages of retirement. We offer Independent Living for those who can live life on their own terms, varying levels of Assisted Living for those who need extra help, and Memory Care for those who suffer from dementia. Our compassionate staff is available 24 hours a day for anything a resident should need.
We take care of all the hassles that traditionally come with owning a home so our residents can live worry-free. Leave the housekeeping, laundry, utilities, and grounds maintenance to us and enjoy time with family, friends, and hobbies.
Every meal at The Manor is a first-class experience. Our renowned Chef LeVance McIver and his staff oversee the preparation of restaurant-style, cooked-to-order meals with more than 60 fresh choices daily, and can accommodate all tastes, requirements, and restrictions.
Our jam-packed calendar of activities has something for everyone — art, music, exercise, religious studies, shopping — you name it. Retirement is the time to relax and have fun, and our full array of recreation and entertainment events encourage residents to explore new interests and hobbies, spend time with friends, and keep the mind and body moving and motivated.
The Manor welcomes people of all religions and faith backgrounds. Our Chaplain of nearly 20 years, Ann Ayres, leads our worship services and helps residents find peace of mind through prayer, counseling, meditation, in-house and hospital visits, and reading of holy texts of various faiths. We hold a non-denominational Sunday service, as well as vespers and devotions, and can assist with vigils, funerals, and memorial services. Residents who wish to attend a different service are welcome to visit other houses of worship.
Our on-site clinic allows residents to receive convenient and specialized primary care without having to leave campus. Residents can walk in or make an appointment to see our physician and compassionate nursing staff to receive treatment for a variety of acute and chronic conditions. In the event of an emergency, residents are transported to the local emergency room for treatment.
The experienced Catalyst Rehab team at The Manor provides high-quality, specialized care for seniors making the transition from hospital to home. Our physical, occupational, and speech therapy services are customized to help each resident regain strength and independence at their own pace while recovering from a surgery, fall, illness, stroke, or other serious accident or injury.
For those who would prefer to receive treatment in the comfort of their own home, residents can order Home Health Services for a variety of reasons, including treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, rehabilitation therapy, and assistance with activities of daily life.
Now’s the time to plan a visit to see our campus and meet our kindhearted staff for yourself. Call today to set up a personal tour and experience all that The Manor has to offer for you and your loved ones!
